To re-set your oil-life indicator on a GM vehicle:

1. Vehicle "off". Turn key to "on" position, but don't start car.

2. Press the accelerator pedal (gas-pedal) 3 times in-a-row.

3. Turn key to "off" position.

4. Turn key to "on" position and press gas-pedal once.

5. Turn key "off". You can now re-start the GM vehicle and the
oil-life indicator should now show 100%.
